Tempo Books was established in 2021.
Tempo Books is an independent bookstore in St. Paul, Minnesota specializing in rare and fine books, manuscripts, ephemera, and vinyl records – bought and sold. We are members of the Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association of America (ABAA), the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB), and the Independent Online Booksellers Association (IOBA) and adhere to the ethical standards laid out by those and other professional organizations. We sell online, at book fairs, and by appointment.

About the owner
Lindsey Rulon-Miller works as a bookseller in addition to work in government relations and public art. She has a past life as a librarian, design researcher, and is active in the historic preservation community, serving on the State Historic Preservation Office Review Board for the past 8 years. Lindsey has a B.A. in English from the University of Minnesota, a Master's of Library and Information Science from St. Catherine University, and is a member of the Academy of Certified Archivists. She lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, and can be reached at info@tempobookshop.com.
This photo was taken on Dec. 19, 2023, the day the new Minnesota State Flag was approved by the State Emblems Redesign Commission, later to be formally adopted on Minnesota's Statehood Day, May 11, 2024.
The State of Minnesota has since faced many challenges both locally and nationally; the "new" flag has served as a symbol of hope for many Minnesotans.
