Includes 4 supplements (issues Feb. 20, 1886; May 1, 1886; June 12, 1886; and August. 21, 1886) with the "Christmas" Thomas Nast engraving present in the December 25, 1886 issue. Rebacked with a handsome brown leather spine; raised bands in 6 compartments with gilt accents.
Largely very good condition with one full tear at pp. 283-284 with page present and minimal loss. Text staining starts at p. 821 (December 4, 1886 issue) and carries through lightly to the last issue (December 25, 1886). Includes a plethora of engravings and articles. Minnesota's Saint Paul Winter Carnival "Ice Palace" engraving in February 20, 1886 issue. Item #2755
